Awarded for understanding where to find help with housing issues and recognizing your basic responsibilities as a resident. This badge acknowledges your awareness of how to navigate life in your new home.

This badge aligns with LifeComp and DigComp competence and supports the development of:
  • Identifying needs and technological responses (knowing where to find help and information)
  • Developing creative ideas, synthesising and combining concepts and information from different sources in view of solving problems (identifying solutions to housing issues)
  • Reflecting on other people’s feedback as well as on successful and unsuccessful experiences to continue developing one’s potential (understanding your obligations as a resident)
  • Empathy (recognizing the importance of neighbors)

  1. Watch & Learn: Watch the "Wonen" video in the Kwikstart app.
  2. Finding Help: According to the video (and your own general knowledge), what are at least two potential places or people you could turn to if you have a problem related to your housing (e.g., repairs, neighbor disputes, feeling lonely)?
  3. Resident Responsibilities: What are two basic responsibilities you likely have as a resident in your home or building (e.g., waste disposal, respecting neighbors, informing the landlord about repairs)?
