Conținut

Awero team, "MilleniuM" Training and Development Institute Cities of Learning partners, and the International Youth Work Trainers Guild offering a 4th modular training for trainers focusing on the competence area for Designing Training Programmes, aligned to the European Training Strategy (ETS). The course will take place on 4-10 December 2025, near Chisinau, Moldova, hotel Giowine.

The training course will contribute to developing trainer’s competences:
  • Designing training programmes based on principles and values of non-formal learning
  • Integrating learners’ needs and backgrounds into training design
  • Creating or adapting methods to a specific training context
  • Designing methods and processes for reflection, evaluation and impact assessment

This course is for people who are:
  • Already working as trainers locally or internationally, willing to strengthen digital competences
  • Age: from 18 years.
  • Language: a sufficient level of English is necessary to participate in this course.
  • Eligible countries: Erasmus+ Programme countries (where we have partners present) and Partner countries where we have of our project partners (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine)

*The Trainer in the field of youth is defined as someone “who shapes, guides and accompanies the learning processes of individuals or groups. Trainers design and implement educational activities based on the values and principles of youth work and non-formal learning; they create conditions that promote the learners’ individual development, and they shape the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary for youth work”
The course organisers will invite up to 24 participants.

Highlights of this training activity:
  • Aligned to the ETS competence model for Trainers - the course objectives and content are aligned with professional competences expected for Facilitating Learning in international training settings in the field of youth work.
  • Focuses primarily on international youth work training context - how to facilitate seminars, training courses, study visits and other formats of youth workers training mobilities.
  • Certified training - the broad coalition of partners will create opportunities for the course participants to assess, validate and recognise competence development at the international level and in specific countries (if possible).
  • Digital friendly - the training and competence assessment methodology and activities will include using digital tools and platforms, for example, Trainers Appraiser platform and digital Open Badges.
  • Long-term development opportunity - participants willing to continue to develop their professional trainer competences will be invited to apply for the upcoming training courses on other competence areas.
  • Endorsed by the International Youth Work Trainers Guild and a broad partnership of Cities of Learning members, and other national and international organisations from the youth field.

Digital credentials and certification

This training activity is a unique opportunity for participants to use up-to-date and digital recognition solutions, such as digital Open Badges and https://trainersappraisal.com/ platform. Participants can use 360-degree competence assessment, earn digital badges, and receive certificates proving their competence development.
Youthpass process and certificate will be offered to participants joining this training programme.

This badge certificate is a micro-credential that confirms the person has completed the international modular training of trainers, focusing on designing educational programmes in international training settings.
The residential training activity occurred from 4th to 10th December 2025 in Moldova. The course participant carried out preparation activities before and follow-up activities after the course. 60 hours of work (equals 2 ECTS) is the estimated time the learner invested to achieve the following learning outcomes:
Developing an educational approach based on the principles and values of non-formal learning; Transferring knowledge or values related to the activity to learners; Integrating learners’ the socio-political backgrounds into the educational programme; Where relevant, integrating ict, e-learning and other tools and methods into the educational activity; Designing an evaluation process and impact assessment; Choose and designing appropriate methods for collecting, interpreting and disseminating information (data, resources, findings, etc ).
The participant could choose a flexible learning pathway through non-formal training and informal learning activities. The learner could choose to submit evidence of learning outcomes for seven of the eleven digital Open Badges required to earn this badge certificate. Peer review supported participants' reflection and understanding of learning outcomes. The course training team reviewed and approved badge evidence.
This certification is aligned with the European Training Strategy (ETS) competence model for trainers. The training organiser has approved Erasmus+ Accreditation to carry out learning mobility for youth workers and trainers in compliance with the quality standards in the EU-funded mobility programmes in the field of youth. The Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps Programmes National Agency in Lithuania evaluated the quality and approved accreditation to carry out this training activity. The International Youth Work Trainers Guild endorses the organiser and this training course for its compliance with the international youth work training quality standards.
