- Download and install the Spaceteam app
Activity:
- Step 1: Play the game with a group of youth or colleagues.
- Step 2. Reflect on gameplay: What moments during the game could lead to a youth work conversation? What themes (e.g., communication, stress, leadership, inclusion) emerged? How might you use this or similar games in your youth work?
Claim the badge:
- Task: Identify key themes and ideas for using online games in youth work.
- Evidence: Submit a short written reflection with insights and at least one idea for future application.

Complete the following offline tasks and activities to earn the Gamewise Practitioner badge.
Preparation:
- Prepare the Spaceteam card game and familiarise yourself with the rules.
Activity:
- Step 1. Facilitate a session using the card game with a youth group.
- Step 2. Observe group interaction, communication styles, and emotional reactions. Reflect on: What learning opportunities emerged? What worked well or needed adaptation? How might you use this or similar games in your youth work?
Claim the badge:
- Task: Reflect on using the card game version in your youth work context.
- Evidence: Submit a debrief note or voice recording with two points on adapting the game for future educational use.
