Task: Enable Short Video Reporting

Description:
  1. Provide opportunities for young people to learn and practice short video reporting within your youth organization.
  2. Make digital storytelling skills, like storyboarding, filming, and editing, accessible to everyone, even those without their own equipment.

How to complete this task:
  1. Share tutorials or resources on digital storytelling (for example, through social media posts, printed guides, or posters).
  2. Offer space or access to equipment such as cameras or computers so youth can film and edit videos on site.
  3. Encourage young people to try out short video reporting as part of your ongoing activities or events.

Evidence:
Upload a short description, screenshot, or photo showing how your organization supported youth in learning or practicing video storytelling.

    Task: Facilitate Youth Video Report activities
    
    Description:
    Encourage your staff or volunteers to work with young people to create short video reports on meaningful community topics. These can focus on plastic waste, environmental awareness, or any issue that matters to youth in your area. The goal is to give young people a voice and practical media skills while raising awareness about local challenges and solutions.
    
    How to complete this task:
    1. Choose a theme that fits your organization’s values or current projects (e.g. sustainability, youth empowerment, inclusion).
    2. Organize a “Video Maker Challenge” or a small program where volunteers and youth teams plan, film, and edit short reports together.
    3. Publish at least three completed video reports on your organization’s website or social media channels.
    4. Highlight collaboration — show how youth and staff worked together to share stories that inspire action or reflection.
    
    Evidence required:
    Submit the links to at least three published video reports and a short description (3–5 sentences) explaining:
    • How youth and staff collaborated in creating the videos;
    • Why the chosen topic was important to your community;
    • What impact or reactions the videos received after being shared.
